Looking like the end of the line, none of the ideas put forward have led to a workable solution so we might as well give it up - after more than ten years not really surprising to find that the wind has gone out of the sails and members are occupied elsewhere...

So wrapping up the interim engagement-activities begun in december (sT.Nix) (...ones to further a dialogue to try and find new paths...) the quartered painting has been readied for immersion – to be lowered into forgetfulness until either a chance dredger might find it or it will become an archaeological curiosity in the future... 

 

will it be lowered surreptitiously or as part of a wider ritual? Still to be considered... as is the reporting on the activities at Maubeuge, which were also a possible discussion point on how to proceed: blowing up nothing out of all proportion, (gonfler le vide IV) and take it for a walk around town, which could be greener... that's the gist of the matter – but will have to do the transcriptions of the texts to figure out more... soon.

(in the meantime - session 2 of the emballage immersion / looks a bit like an 'envoi de cartel' or something iffy - but made with the rest of the tape used for the zeppelin at Maubeuge....) sunday 9th of june, a black sunday again...)

The chairs also have to content themselves with the small restorative interventions made in the meantime and will no longer be part of a major Buktarenovation as proposed... here they are in their current state:

Étant donné que diverses tentatives visant à renflouer quelque chose comme un groupement de Bukta pour conserver l'espace au moins pendant le temps où il est encore dans les limbes n'ont abouti à rien du tout, il semble que ce soit vraiment la fin du chemin et qu'il soit temps de nettoyer. ...cleanup.... déjà depuis un moment, c'est comme fouetter un cheval mort de toute façon.

Pour donner à tout cela une sorte d'adieu, Julien a proposé une combiné d'immersion d'objets, - dans une rivière et/ou un canal – et pour cela j'ai préparé une partie de la toile de Saint-Nix : enroulée autour d'un poids de pierre puis d'un sac cadeau Père Noël., il est prêt pour un dernier emballage de plastique noir solide et de gaffertape pour résister au moins un certain temps avant de se désintégrer...

Bernard propose une dernière présentation publique de Buktapaktop vers la fin juin...

Je suis ouvert aux deux et je pense même peut-être combiner avec une tout-dernière tentative de recherche de supporters : un système d'abonnement pour un an... un appel ouvert pour ainsi dire - mais qui voudrait gérer cela  ?
